This patient presented requesting to alter her nasal shape and improve breathing. She tended to mouth breath and felt her airway was poor. Her skin was extremely thick and oily which presented a major challenge.
Post operatively her airway was markedly improved and the nasal shape is altered with a longer nose, more tip definition and a higher nasal bridge. This type of augmentation procedure increases the size and surface area of the nasal passages if performed correctly and usually improves breathing issues.
